How to apply to become a Jolly Trainer

Being a Jolly Phonics Trainer is rewarding and exciting. If you have the following credentials and would like to apply, we’d love to hear from you!

Desired requirements

• A teaching qualification in Early Years, Primary Education, General Primary Education, Languages or similar.
• In-class/curriculum teaching experience.
• A verified teaching role(s) that reflects classroom/teaching experience.
• Proven in-class experience of using Jolly Phonics (and other programmes) including planning examples and creating support videos.
• Completion of Jolly Phonics or Jolly Grammar training: this can be either self-taught, via a CPD course or by an official Trainer.

We also ask you to:

• Submit a short demo video with your application: this is an opportunity to help us see your knowledge in action!
• Take part in a video interview (to be arranged): here you’ll answer questions about using Jolly Phonics (or other programmes such as Jolly English, Jolly Classroom or Jolly Grammar).
• Take part in a final interview (to be arranged): here you’ll give a short presentation on a specific topic related to training.
