Barb Malinger is a reading specialist with ESL certification who has used Jolly Phonics since 2000 in her K-2 classrooms, with ELL students, and with small groups of struggling readers as a literacy teacher with outstanding success. She has over 25 years experience in pre-school, primary classrooms, and literacy teaching. Barb has been a trainer since 2003 and enjoys working with teachers conducting workshops and presentations in Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar for school districts in Illinois.

Barb is also 2013 Illinois Reading Educator of the Year
