Chelsea has an M.S. in Literacy & Reading from Cal State University, an M.A. in Teaching from USC; the California Bilingual, Cross-Cultural, Language and Academic Development Authorization (BCLAD); the California Gifted and Talented Education endorsement (GATE); a B.A. in English Language & Literature and a minor in Spanish. She is TEFL certified and has attended International Baccalaureate (IB) courses. She has been a teacher trainer, curriculum coordinator, reading & writing specialist, and English teacher at international, dual language schools for 16 years. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Chelsea is passionate about training teachers how to use Jolly Phonics with effective and fun methodology. She has happily observed teachers, students, and families fall in love with this exceptional program. She creates dynamic, active, and practical professional development for staff in single or multiple-day sessions. She is based in Mexico City, but will travel throughout Mexico, Latin America, the U.S., or anywhere! Join her on the journey of phonics learning!
