Arlene Grierson

**Niagara, Ontario** Arlene Grierson, PhD has taught with Jolly Phonics for many years and achieved outstanding results with her primary grade students. She is also the author of the Jolly Jingles (part of the Jolly Phonics range) and has provided numerous courses and mentored educators throughout Ontario in the implementation of Jolly Phonics. Arlene is currently an Assistant Professor at the Brantford Campus of Nipissing University where she teaches concurrent education courses. For the past ten years Arlene has provided professional development sessions in the use of Jolly Phonics for teachers, parents and other educational partners.

Dr. Sue Whittaker

United States

**Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada** Dr Susan Whittaker is currently a professor in the Early Childhood- Special Education department at Niagara University in Lewiston, NY.  Susan recently retired from her role as Principal at Summit Academy, a school in Western New York that supports students with Autism, early intervention to age 21. She resides in Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada. Susan was previously the Manager and Literacy Curriculum Coordinator at Arbourvale School in Slough, England. Susan works primarily with children with Autism where she uses Jolly Phonics to secure the reading skills of both verbal and non-verbal children. Susan has previously taught, for 17 years, kindergarten and early childhood special education in the US and Canada where she used ***Jolly Phonics*** as her foundation phonics program. As part of her doctoral dissertation (Ed.D), through Aurora University, Susan researched the use of ***Jolly Phonics*** as a whole-group curriculum and its use in small group reading intervention, with remarkable results. Susan continues to conduct ongoing research in the use of Jolly Phonics and offers support in the USA and Canada through her business, Jolly Reading Consulting, based in Niagara Falls, New York. Susan is eager to support school districts and teaches the full Jolly Phonics and Grammar program.

Laurie Fyke

Fort Erie, Ontario

Laurie Fyke provides numerous and varied Jolly Phonics training sessions for school boards, educators (K-2), day care teachers, instructors of ESL, conferences and parents. During 30 years of primary instruction, including early literacy intervention classes, Laurie found that this synthetic phonics, multi-sensory approach has generated the most remarkable student academic results and the greatest enthusiasm for reading, writing and learning for all students. She enthusiastically shares program concepts and easy to implement classroom ideas and activities. Laurie has provided extensive training in Ontario. She is the co-author of the Jolly Songs.

Sadaf Asif

Sadaf is an experienced Early Years teacher with over 10 years of experience teaching at various schools across Islamabad and Wah Cantt. She has worked with all age groups in an Early Years setting, from play group all the way up to nursery and KG children. Sadaf has her own Early Years school and Jolly Phonics training centre in Islamabad. She is really passionate about learning and sharing her knowledge with others. She is constantly working on creating fun and exciting activities to fully engage the children in the learning process. Since implementing the Jolly Phonics programme in her school, children have produced tremendous results whilst becoming excellent readers and creative writers. Sadaf strongly believes that the ability to read and write is the basic right of every child and that no child deserves to be overlooked. Sadaf has conducted various training sessions for her Early Years staff and parents as well as teachers from other schools in major cities of Pakistan. Sadaf worked alongside Jolly Trainer Fatima-Tuz-Zehra and Junior Trainers on AFAQ Adoption Programme in Punjab to implement Jolly Phonics in the low-cost schools of Punjab. She has also worked with Trainers Tahira Sheikh and Sadia Malik on KPK Project in collaboration with Government of KPK and Jolly Learning UK. Sadaf is the first Jolly Phonics YouTuber in Pakistan, with a channel that is gradually becoming popular among Jolly Phonics enthusiasts in Pakistan. Currently Sadaf is away from Pakistan and living in Canada to pursue further training in Early Years and child care.
