Clare Fulton

Clare Fulton (BEd Hons) is a qualified nursery (Montessori trained) and primary teacher who has worked in a variety of mainstream and additional support needs settings. The first Scottish trainer for Jolly Learning, she has travelled throughout Scotland and internationally, providing Continuing Professional Development in Jolly Phonics, Jolly Grammar and Jolly Music. Clare has repeatedly seen the delight of parents and teachers as children have grown in confidence and self-esteem, having learned to read and write, using this extremely effective programme which works for all learners because of its truly exceptional, multi-sensory approach. Clare has worked with National Literacy Trust and currently works with Scottish Book Trust to promote literacy for all.  She was invited by the Ministry of Education in Oman to deliver training to its inspectors and trainers, has worked extensively with teachers in Iraq and KRI and has also delivered training in England, Ireland, Wales, Egypt, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Mexico, Norway and Saudi Arabia.  She has contributed to conferences and a talk show and never tires of talking about Jolly Phonics and the outstanding impact it has throughout the world.

Maria Collins first met Jolly Phonics when she saw “Tricky Word Wall Flowers” in an educational supplies shop! Having over 30 years experience with Junior Classes she appreciates how children learn so quickly with Jolly Phonics. They are soon amazing their parents with early reading and writing ability. The road to success is fun, interactive and enjoyable for all. She makes extensive use of the materials, including teaching with Jolly Grammar. Maria is one of the online facilitators with the Jolly Phonics online training course.
