Imke Herold is originally Dutch but lived and taught in Amman for over 20 years between 1995 and 2017, and has held Head of KG and Primary positions in several schools. She was introduced to Jolly Phonics whilst teaching at IAA and has since been a strong advocate, having seen the excellent results achieved due to the programme. She has conducted many workshops for teachers and parents, and relishes the opportunity to enthuse others and share her passion. She has returned to the Netherlands but continues to travel between her home country and Jordan to provide training.

Den Helder

In the Netherlands I teach, for many years, children from 4 to 12 years old. Since 2011 I'm active in education in Uganda and started working with Jolly Phonics. I saw the achievements in children and love to see how children and teachers are more active and have fun. Also the schools in the environment saw the great results in children, showed their interest and asked for help. I love to share my knowledge and that's how become a Jolly Phonics trainer. I'm in Uganda each year for three months.
