She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with first-class honours from the University of Education, Winneba. She also holds a Master of Philosophy in Early Childhood Education from the University of Education Winneba with her research focused on how teachers use phonics to teach learners reading in early childhood centers.
From 2014 to date, Francisca has been using Jolly phonics to teach her learners reading and there has been a positive change in learner’s ability to read. Ever since she started using Jolly Phonics on her learners, they progressed at a quicker and less stressful rate than before. Additionally, she has been mentoring teachers in her school and many other Early Childhood Centers. She has had a series of trainings for both government and private school teachers who can see the results of their work shortly after they start using Jolly Phonics.
Francisca assisted Universal Learning Solutions UK as a teacher leader for the Catholic schools’ Jolly Phonics project in Ghana in 2016. She also supported INGITJPF as a trainer to train government school teachers across various districts in Ghana.
Drawing on her in-depth knowledge and rich experiences, Francisca is ready to help other teachers in Ghana and beyond to acquire knowledge in Jolly phonics and the skills to help learners read in a fun, multi-sensory and effective way.
