Isata is a trained and qualified teacher with the higher teacher's certificate from Njala University College, Sierra Leone. She currently teachers at OAKS Community Primary School.

She has been teaching Jolly Phonics within the Early Years sector for over five years, as well as being a buddy to many teachers and building on her classroom teaching by training others.
