Afaf has been teaching English with Jolly Phonics for six years. She has seen the amazing results with children who have taught in the programme being more confident in reading and writing. She noticed these results from the first day of applying the programme in the class as she used other phonics teaching method with children. She always believes in "children don’t learn what you teach, they learn what they want to learn so make the learning process spark their curiosity and interest, memorable and enjoyable". Afaf is keen to help parents and teachers how to use Jolly Phonics programme and how to engage different hands- on activities with teaching learning process. Afaf has been supervising a learning center and many nurseries in introducing Jolly Phonics from early stage to primary stage. She is an English Trainer certified from Cambridge University and TEFL & TEYL Holder.
Diego Zaffaroni is an international educator and consultant. He is qualified to teach in the UK and Italy; he worked for five years as a Bilingual Education School Coordinator, a project supported jointly by the British Council and the Italian Ministry of Education. Diego has experienced leadership roles at an innovative Cambridge school in Milan and an IB World School in Kurdistan, Iraq and was actively involved in the development of projects in International Education and English Language Teaching in the Middle East and Europe. He was Dean of Academics and PYP Coordinator at a newly established IB school in Mumbai which is part of a well-known group of schools across India. His training and consultancy experience has developed over ten years across three continents. He is studying to earn an MA Education from Durham University. Diego has seen better and better results with Jolly Phonics over the years he and his fellow teachers have used it; Jolly Phonics has been a key element in making sure that no child is left behind. Dr. Asmaa Emara holds a PhD in Education with a specialization in English language teaching methodologies and technology applications in education using the Jolly Classroom. With a Master's degree in implementing Jolly Phonics in Montessori classrooms, Dr. Asmaa Emara has developed a keen expertise in early childhood education. As a children's author, she has written so many engaging stories in both Arabic and English to facilitate reading skills. Furthermore, she is an instructional designer for children's curricula in English, dedicated to creating innovative and effective learning materials. Dr. Asmaa Emara specializes in teaching Jolly Phonics, Jolly English and Jolly Grammar and has over five years of training experience, and more than 10 years in teaching. Her passion for education and commitment to excellence is reflected in her work, inspiring both students and educators. Naglaa has been teaching English for eight years. She began teaching English as a second language to young learners when she found out about the Jolly Phonics programme. Seeing the magical results and how the 5 year-old children were reading and writing English, she decided to help other teachers how to use the Jolly Phonics programme in their classrooms. She also has considerable professional experience in translating/editing and founded with her AUC colleagues the company 'ISO Translation' which started in 2012.

Mrs. Opheera McDoom, British, has set up three schools in Egypt and Sudan. Jolly Phonics and Grammar has been used as the primary literacy programme in all her schools. Ms McDoom has been training in both education and media for more than two decades. She designed and taught training courses for Sudanese and U.N. journalists and press officers, advised and trained government officials in Libya, Sudan and South Sudan and has undertaken training consultancies for the United Nations and World Bank. As a former journalist and head of the Reuters office in Khartoum, Mrs. McDoom won awards including the United Nations Elizabeth Neuffer Memorial Award, Reuters journalist of the year, and has been the Reuters nominee for the prestigious OPC award, the IWMF’s Courage in Journalism award and the Prix Bayeux. Mrs. McDoom is proud to be a Jolly Phonics Trainer. She runs teacher training as well as Jolly Phonics courses and all her amazing teaching staff have had full Jolly Phonics training by her.

Rehab Aly Elsokary has been an advocate and practitioner of Jolly Phonics for over fifteen years, having taught the method extensively and trained numerous teachers across Egypt since 2009. Her hands-on experience has allowed her to witness firsthand the significant positive outcomes for young learners, and she is passionate about empowering fellow educators to replicate these successes in their own classrooms. In 2015, Rehab furthered her professional expertise by earning her teacher certification and a Master’s Degree in Education from The College of New Jersey. In addition, Rehab continued her expertise by earning her Master of Business Administration in Global Management and Leadership from The Swiss School of Management. This academic achievement, coupled with her practical experience, has enriched her understanding of the foundational principles of literacy instruction and leadership. As a highly knowledgeable educator with a deep passion for reading, Rehab is also a skilled leader and mentor, committed to fostering professional growth among teachers. Her approach emphasizes not only developing literacy skills in students but also equipping teachers with the tools and strategies to create engaging, effective learning environments.

Susan Saleh, EYFS Principal and responsible for curriculum development (lower school), specialises in the Early Years in an International British School in Cairo. “I am a strong advocate of Jolly Phonics as I have witnessed amazing outcomes with all learners (EAL, children with learning disabilities and the gifted and talented). Children not only enjoy learning through this fun, animated, multi-sensory method but are stretched tremendously.” Teachers, parents and administrators have all taken a key interest into learning this methodology after witnessing the outstanding results. Susan has held many workshops – training both teachers and parents – whilst spreading her passion.
