Ashley Louise Liney

Ashley is an experienced and qualified teacher. She has been teaching English to Spanish children for nearly 15 years and has been using her enthusiasm and knowledge, teamed with Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar to achieve remarkable results; in both infant and primary years. During this time she has seen how Jolly Phonics has been strongly introduced into the nursery system here in Spain and has found herself deeply induced within this area and has observed very high results. Ashley also prepares for Cambridge exams A1-C1 and has found a different way of correcting older students using phonetics and Jolly Grammar.

Beki Wilson

Beki is a fully qualified and highly experienced infants and primary teacher; that has had excellent results when teaching English as a second language in Spain, through Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar. As part of her role within the British Council/MEC bilingual project, she also taught Art and Science and fully believes that a more creative approach to teaching can motivate young learners in any educational setting. Beki currently works as a full-time teacher trainer and Literacy Consultant for various schools, LEAs and universities in Spain. She also organises courses in Europe and her enthusiastic and lively seminars demonstrate her passion for effective teaching. Beki also collaborates with Jolly Music Trainer Pedro Izuzquiza, as they both fully agree that being in contact with music has huge benefits for young (English) learners. Coral George

Coral George is a world wide speaker, and a “Synthetic Phonics Ambassador” who works closely with Education Inspectors, Universities in various countries and Local Education Authorities. Qualified as a teacher in Britain, she started her career teaching in England followed by some time in Egypt before finally joining the Spanish Ministry of Education/British Council “Bilingual Project” in 1998. While teaching infants with Jolly Phonics, Coral was amazed at the children's interest, progress and the high standards of literacy achieved by her students. Coral was a pioneer, providing synthetic phonics teacher-training years before the Department for Education in UK. advised "Synthetic Phonics" as a prescriptive reading methodology. Emma M Kneebone

Emma has taught in both British and Spanish schools for the last 21 years. She has worked with students of all ages, but is specialised in teaching early primary children. She has a successful working experience of Jolly Phonics and Grammar, focusing on the implementation of the methodologies with ESL students. Emma firmly believes that the secret of the methodology is in the fact that the authors of the programme are teachers! She also feels the dynamism ensures that all students are catered for, no matter how they learn. After working full-time for over twenty years, both as a teacher and head of departments, she believes she can use and share her experiences, to train other teachers to love Jolly Phonics and Grammar and become more effective in their classrooms! Emma is keen to reinforce the training with advice on its implementation within schools or language centres.

Fernanda A. Panzitta Grecco is a graduate English teacher from ISP Dr. Antonio M. Saenz, in Argentina, specializing in the teaching of phonics and phonology to young learners. She holds a certificate in Pedagogía de la Enseñanza en Lengua Extranjera and Phonological Awareness Formation. With over ten years of experience teaching English in kindergarten and primary levels, Fernanda discovered the Jolly Phonics program and was immediately impressed by its effectiveness. For the past ten years, she has successfully applied Jolly Phonics in her classrooms, noting how children eagerly anticipate learning new sounds and the positive impact it has on their reading, writing, and pronunciation skills. Fernanda has trained both students and teachers in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Montevideo, Uruguay, and Málaga, Spain, witnessing the method’s success across diverse contexts. She is passionate about sharing her expertise with educators worldwide, believing strongly that synthetic phonics benefits all learners. Mercedes is a qualified and highly experienced infant and primary teacher in second language learning. She has been teaching English to Spanish children, teens and adults for more than 15 years with great results in Jolly Phonics and Grammar. In 2010, she began her own language school Ensiname, where Jolly Phonics and Grammar are used starting at the age of two years old. Mercedes also prepares Cambridge Exams, Levels A1-C1 and Trinity GESE. Mercedes is eager to help increase awareness of Jolly Phonics and Grammar in Galicia, as well as to help provide high quality phonics teaching for all levels.

Premo “fell in love” with the Jolly Programme in 2008, since then she has been joyfully learning and growing with her Spanish speaking students. In her opinion, the multi sensory way of Jolly learning is a twenty-first century approach to the literacy process that each child has the right to go through with joy, and to inspire further love for reading. She has focused her attention on both infant and primary years, not only teaching in different levels, but also coaching other English teachers to successfully implement the programme.

Sandra has been teaching Jolly Phonics and Grammar for 15 years internationally in Egypt, Korea and Hong Kong with outstanding results. Originally a qualified teacher from the UK, she has gained a PGDE from Hong Kong University in Learning Support and Literacy where she worked with the Hong Kong Government implementing Jolly Phonics in local primary schools.  She was also a Cambridge Young Learner and IELTS Examiner in Asia. Sandra is an enthusiastic and experienced teaching professional and enjoys working with teachers to support their goals in their classroom.

Yvonne Dalorto

Yvonne is a former Head Teacher and Phonics Coordinator at a British School in Jerez, Spain (South). Yvonne qualified as a teacher in the UK, where she first started using Jolly Phonics in 1998 as part of the SEN provision before it was integrated into the 'whole school' approach. She has been implementing Jolly Phonics and Grammar in bilingual schools in Spain since 2004 alongside teaching roles. Additionally she has travelled extensively providing teacher training internationally, to support curriculum alignment using Jolly Phonics and Grammar and exploring the diversity of the programme to use with different methodologies schools/educational facilities use, creative writing, reading extension activities, SEN support and using the range of resources to support the range of exams for the B1 - B2 exams and CLIL. Yvonne has also worked with charitable trusts/organisations providing training and advice for projects as well as government incentives such as the Bilingual Project in Spain, BEDA, Junta de Andalucia, the Official School of Languages (Spain) and outreach projects in India and Asia. Both training online and 'face to face' options are available, with workshops or training sessions curated to meet the needs of the teachers/educational facilities.
