Barb Malinger is a reading specialist with ESL certification who has used Jolly Phonics since 2000 in her K-2 classrooms, with ELL students, and with small groups of struggling readers as a literacy teacher with outstanding success. She has over 25 years experience in pre-school, primary classrooms, and literacy teaching. Barb has been a trainer since 2003 and enjoys working with teachers conducting workshops and presentations in Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar for school districts in Illinois. Barb is also 2013 Illinois Reading Educator of the Year

Deb Bible has been a Jolly Phonics and Grammar trainer since 2003 and is now also a vendor for Jolly materials. She has used Jolly Phonics and Grammar in the general education and special education classrooms, and with small groups of students as a literacy teacher. Deb witnessed substantial student growth in independent reading and writing while implementing Jolly Phonics and Grammar. She loves working with teachers and has given trainings for schools districts around the United States and presented at both state and national conferences.

Dr. Sue Whittaker

**Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada** Dr Susan Whittaker is currently a professor in the Early Childhood- Special Education department at Niagara University in Lewiston, NY.  Susan recently retired from her role as Principal at Summit Academy, a school in Western New York that supports students with Autism, early intervention to age 21. She resides in Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada. Susan was previously the Manager and Literacy Curriculum Coordinator at Arbourvale School in Slough, England. Susan works primarily with children with Autism where she uses Jolly Phonics to secure the reading skills of both verbal and non-verbal children. Susan has previously taught, for 17 years, kindergarten and early childhood special education in the US and Canada where she used ***Jolly Phonics*** as her foundation phonics program. As part of her doctoral dissertation (Ed.D), through Aurora University, Susan researched the use of ***Jolly Phonics*** as a whole-group curriculum and its use in small group reading intervention, with remarkable results. Susan continues to conduct ongoing research in the use of Jolly Phonics and offers support in the USA and Canada through her business, Jolly Reading Consulting, based in Niagara Falls, New York. Susan is eager to support school districts and teaches the full Jolly Phonics and Grammar program.

Gomathi Muniappan

Cupertino, CA

Gomathi is currently a Special Education teacher in the Santa Clara County School district after completing her Master’s degree in Special Education. Her MA thesis project addressed California teachers’ perceptions, practices, and knowledge of phonemic awareness. She is passionate about increasing literacy rates with one classroom at a time and enthusiastic about spreading Jolly Phonics to more students and teachers. Gomathi ran a very successful phonics center in India and also designed English curriculums that integrated Jolly phonics/grammar for schools in India. She has trained and supported teachers as they implemented the Jolly phonics/grammar curriculum successfully across many grades.

Irene Baysal

Irene Baysal, a native of Southern California and UCLA graduate, taught EFL in kindergarten and primary schools abroad for 15 years. She is currently the director of a boutique home preschool in Southern California. She uses Jolly Phonics in her classroom religiously and sees incredible results. She is very passionate about Jolly Phonics and is eager to provide training to teachers and schools to raise levels of literacy regardless of learning styles or difficulties. She sees how Jolly Phonics reaches different learning styles (visual, auditory, kinaesthetic) through stories and songs that are fun and easy for children to learn and recall. Irene has been enthusing colleagues, giving training presentations and speaking at conferences about Jolly Phonics to raise standards across the board.

With an MA in Education from California, Katie Kohn has taught in Los Angeles, at an International School in Helsinki, Finland, and in Ostrava, Czech Republic. She sees how Jolly Phonics reaches different modalities (visual, auditory, kinesthetic) with stories and songs that are fun and easy for children to learn and recall.  She is enthusiastic and passionate about this teaching and she wants to enable other teachers, and children, to achieve with it.

Keith Tacey has been living and teaching in Vietnam since 2009. He has managed several international schools including a kindergarten and a Montessori school. Keith is trained in Montessori, and he is certified in Secondary Education. Patty Clark is a retired National Board Certified kindergarten teacher from Illinois who discovered Jolly Phonics through the influences of her husband, Terry. Patty began a solo Jolly Phonics crusade using student achievement results and classroom demonstrations throughout her district, local surrounding school districts and the Midwest. Her training sessions have proven that Jolly Phonics is the best program for all readers and writers, inspiring teachers to implement the program and even become trainers. Patty continues to consult for Jolly Phonics via email and phone in her new home in the Finger Lakes region of New York. Terry is a retired reading specialist, IT and resource center teacher who introduced Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar in Palatine, IL District 15. His determination and success developing readers and writers through Jolly Phonics put him in the forefront of his peers. He accompanied his wife Patty on many training sessions throughout the Midwest. Terry now resides in the Village of Trumansburg, NY, with his wife and Westie Fiona.
